In the early days of Hawaii, large ships traversed the Pacific and docked in Honolulu Harbor. Some of these ships brought abundance from Asia, Europe, and the continental United States. Others were destined for whaling and harvesting from the vast Pacific Ocean. The captains of these mighty vessels enjoyed their own sleeping quarters, sometimes no more than 10’ square. They carried their worldly possessions in trunks that inspired Martin & MacArthur to create the Koa Captain’s Trunk. Larger in size and storage than the Whaler’s Trunk or Immigrant’s Trunk, the Captain’s Trunk reflected the stature of these skippers of the high seas.
The Captain’s Trunk has built-in legs that allow it to be elevated above the ground by 4-inches. Our Captain’s Trunk has the largest storage capacity for everything you need to stow.

All Koa Furniture is shipped Air Freight from Hawaii to the Overseas. Crating & Packing are all done by Martin & MacArthur. Shipping is handled by a 1st Class Freight Forwarded. Costs for Crate/Pack & Shipping will vary for each piece of Furniture. Please call or email for more details.
For all orders exceeding a value of 100USD shipping is offered for free.
Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item.
