It appears to be highly durable and functional, however, the opening on the top is one metric fraction too small to fit the mounting pin for the lamp; both the clamp and the lamp, where they go together are 12 mm. If you're considering this item, be sure the clamp will fit the mounting pin. It's a good, sturdy, clamp. It's worth the price. The fit is my fault and I just need a larger opening for my lamp. So, I'll be contacting the seller and hopefully will get the item that I need. The product is good; go for it!
