Glazed in a tumbling block motif, this pattern was popular in tilework in ancient Greece and then again as a quilting pattern in the 1800s, but looks decidedly modern in this neutral colorway. When I first saw this lamp, I wasn’t sure how it would look in a bedroom setting, but I was pleasantly surprised. It fits perfectly, and the size, along with the black and white pattern, complements the space beautifully. The combination of gold with the black and white design is stunning. While I wish the quality were slightly improved, it’s still a gorgeous lamp for the price.
