The color was nice, but I'm going to have to take the lamp some place where it can be "fixed". The light bulb unit sits cockeyed and the lamp shade is so low to the base that's it's very difficult to find the on/off switch. I am quite disappointed, but am going to try to get it fixed so is usable.Cute, short lamp - perfect size for my bookshelf. Unfortunately, the shade came slightly crushed in the box. Otherwise, a 5 star.I bought this on a whim -- and turned out I'm using it on a wine rack piece (ebony). It has turned the rack into something special! I am very pleased.Size and design are all good. That's what I wanted.Excellent product, well worth the money.It fits exactly in the spot that I wanted it to!The color is just like what shows in the picture. Great proportion, cute and yet elegant. Fit perfectly on my study desk.Darling
