I bought this to replace my terrible lamp that was falling apart. This lamp is really nice. It takes regualr light bulbs and you no longer have to fiddle with trying to find the on off nob, because is has a metal pull string. It also has a 2 prong outlet on the lamp itself for extra stuff like charging your phone.The only thing I don't like is the lamp shade isn't screwed on, it is just placed over the bulb hole and then you screw in the bulb over it that way you can't get it off, but it very loose and jiggley when you touch it. Overall still a great purchase.
