It's not only decorative, but practical. I can move it anywhere. It's easy to use, the button has good touch sensitivity. Some reviewers having difficulty with the brightness may not know that it has a dimmer feature. Long press the on/off button, it will either brighten or dim (toggles either way), which I think is ingenious. It charges with a USB. I didn't measure how long the charge lasts, but I'm very happy with this light, and bought a second one (may have been elsewhere if not in stock here or here when the other place wasn't stocked)! I think it would look good wall mounted - it would be great if wall mounting were an option.
