i bought 2 of these for my nightstands but unfortunately they are rose gold in real life, not brass gold which is what i was going for. still cute but just didn’t work with my room so i’ll be returning them. also annoying that the product didn’t come with its own key/wrench to twist the screw at the bottom in with since it requires a really small one which i didn’t have. This is a very good lamp that has a very observable functional design flaw. the base of the lamp is very thin and the switch for this lamp is on the wire itself only. When the lamp is on a Table especially on the edge, getting to the wire is very difficult. It would have been very convenient for this to have a switch for the light on the top side of the base or the head where the bulb connects. The color of the stand is nearly perfect to a rose gold and I love it! The only thing that is making me give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn’t come with the light bulb. I had to go buy and figure out the one it shows in the pictures. Aside from that easy to put together. I will say I bought another one to match.I bought this lamp for my teenage son. It is a lightweight, compact style desk lamp. My son loves it! It does not come with an Edison bulb and they are not cheap at the home improvement stores. Just FYI. It was a reasonably priced lamp for the above average quality. This is literally the cutest lamp EVER!! I got the gold finish, but it looks more rose gold, unless that's what I got. Anyway, It is easy to assemble. I purchased a vintage light bulb from Target & it completed the look! It is versatile enough that if I were to choose a different bulb style, it would look equally as good.I do not love where the power button is (on the cord), but other than that it is a fine little lamp. I like the look, the color, the feel, and the weight of it.Absolutely love this lamp! Very easy to assemble, and no tools needed because include. Sleek, industrial, and modern looking. Mirrored finish creates a beautiful hue, especially in rose gold. Versatile because any Edison bulb shape will work as long as it's up to 60 watts.Great desk lamp! Wish there was a dimmer but you can get the smart light bulbs to hook up to your phone for that. Great for the priceIt's a good thing I have basic metalworking tools, because I had to bend the main stem back into normal shape before assembly. The stem didn't mate into the base at all, so it needed work. If you use a open-side bulb, be prepared for a lot of eye strain and distraction. Using a spotlight bulb works better but reduces the light's range. You'll need to buy your own shade if you want to get real lamp-style use out of this thing.
